For full-service and fast casual restaurants
A restaurant loses money in two places nobody watches: the ten metres between the counter and the pass, and the gap between a guest enjoying their meal and that opinion appearing anywhere online. This setup closes both.
What usually goes wrong
- 1
Orders reach the kitchen as shouting or as paper that ends up under a tray, and the argument about what was ordered happens in front of the guest.
- 2
Nobody can say how long a ticket has been up, so the slow table is discovered when the guest asks, not before.
- 3
You have a good rating built on a small number of reviews, which means one bad night can move it visibly.

The server rings the table on the counter iPad. The ticket is on the kitchen screen before they have walked back, split by station, with a timer that both the chef and the expo can see. When the plate goes out, the cook taps once and the ticket clears.
At the end of the meal the check comes with a stand on the tray. The guest who just had a good evening taps it while they are waiting for the card machine, and the review is written from the table rather than never. Your average stops depending on which nine people happened to post last year.
