Customer Display
A second screen facing the guest with the order and the tip prompt.
Install time: Same day · about 1 hour on site

Overview
A small screen mounted at the guest’s side of the counter, showing each item as it is rung up and, at the end, the tip screen. It replaces the move every counter person knows: spinning the iPad around, holding it at an angle, and standing there while the guest decides.
Two things change. Guests catch mistakes before they pay, which kills most refund arguments, and the tip prompt is presented by a screen instead of by a person, which is both less awkward and, in every counter we have installed, worth more than the display costs.

What we do on site
We find the spot where the guest can reach it without leaning over food, mount and cable it, pair it with the register, set your tip percentages and run a live sale to confirm the totals match on both screens.
How long it takes
About an hour.
What you need to prepare
A free outlet near the till and a decision on your tip percentages. If the counter is stone or steel, tell us in advance so we bring the right mount.
Questions about this product
- Does it increase tips?
- In our installs it does, mostly because the prompt is consistent — it appears on every sale instead of only when the cashier remembers to turn the screen around. We will not promise a percentage; ask us what we have seen at a place your size.
- Can we turn the tip screen off?
- Yes, in a minute, from the register settings. Some retail clients run the display purely as an order confirmation with no tip prompt at all.
- Do we need a second iPad?
- No. The display is its own screen and comes with the kit. Your register keeps working exactly as it did.
