Accessibility Statement

  1. 1.Our goal

    We want niktrix.org to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA.

  2. 2.What we have done

    • Text and background colours meet the WCAG AA contrast ratio.
    • Every page can be used with a keyboard, and the focused item has a visible outline.
    • Images have text alternatives. Pictures of our app are described in words.
    • Pages use headings and landmarks, so screen readers can move around them.
    • Animations are switched off when your device asks for reduced motion.
    • Every page is available in English, Spanish and Russian.
    • We check our pages with automated accessibility tools (axe and Lighthouse) in all three languages.

  3. 3.Kiosks at venues

    If a kiosk at a venue is hard for you to use, please ask the staff: you can also order at the counter.

    If something on our site is hard to use, write to hello@niktrix.org or call (518) 870‑0354. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We will reply within 5 business days and work with you to fix it or give you the information another way.
